Liron Rose
Liron Rose, Major (Res.), is an Israeli serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and author. He served in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, with his final role in reserves as a regional emergency officer. Born in Israel and raised in Belgium and the UK, Rose holds a BA in Economics and Management with honors from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA.
Throughout his career, he founded AfterDownload, which was acquired by IronSource in 2013. Following the acquisition, he became an angel investor, backing companies like Armis, Datorama, and SimilarWeb. He also established the Israeli branch of the global startup accelerator Techstars. In addition, Rose serves as a senior advisor to GLG and AlphaSights and continues to make significant contributions to the Israeli entrepreneurship and investment sectors. In 2023, he published his book, Entrepreneurship and Investments at Eye Level, which details his journey as a high-tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist, including his involvement in successful companies that have been sold for a combined total of billions of dollars.
Currently, Liron Rose is the host of the Owl podcast, where he engages with experts and key figures in in-depth conversations about security, politics, and society. The podcast covers current topics such as Israel's security challenges, and regional geopolitical dynamics.
